Q&A
Q: Who should signup for a multi-week round of Crazy Eds Pilates?
A; Any active adult curious about a Pilates style workout designed specifically for active beginners who have never done Pilates before. Are you active, looking for a different more mindful way to generate strength, balance, posture, and tone with a little bit of attitude and a lot fun,. oh and no impact? Then Crazy Eds Pilates is the Pilates style workout you seek.
Q:What should I bring to my first day of class?
A: A smile, water bottle, small sweat towel, clean feet and a pair of clean comfortable socks. If you have sticky socks - even better but not necessary first few days. Oh, and do NOT wear flip flops to class. Just do not do it.
Q: Can I make up a missed session on another day ?
A: Possible - we will do our best to accommodate up to 2 (two) makeups each round yet it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. We have been getting fully booked with an actual waiting list for some classes meaning there is no availability in other time slots for a make up to occur.
Q: How do I request make up session availability?
A: Great Question. A make up request can occur AFTER the 2nd week of the round you signed up for. Makeup requests are for classes that have been missed but not for classes going to be missed. Please DO NOT ask trainer in class, before class or after class, about needing a makeup session. Trainer does not know day to day availabilities. After the first 2 weeks and only after the 2 weeks - Please TEXT Management (928 seven three 3 eight 4 88) any request for make up classes at the Crazy Ed Phone number, Response can take up to 3 days. Do not expect same day response.
Q: Do you allow Partial sign ups?
A: Unfortunately No. We can no longer accommodate Partial sign ups. In order to secure a session time slot for a designated term - Full cost for session packages is charged.
Q: Do you offer free sessions to try it out?
A: No, we suggest you sign up for a full round.
Q: Can I watch a class to see if I like it?
A: Sorry but no. For a number of reasons including we are a by appointment only studio, our studio is small, you are a stranger, and sessions are closed and focused. We suggest you stop hesitating, don't be a stranger, sign up and actually do it for a number of weeks and see if you like it that way.
Q: Can I meet with someone to go over what you do in class to see if I like it?
A: Private session package of 3 is our smallest package available at a cost of $220 and dependent on trainer availability. Text us for availability. We suggest you stop hesitating, sign up for the classes and actually do it for a number of weeks and see if you like it that way.
Q: Just visiting for a week. Can I drop in for a class or two?
A: Sorry, no. Due to high local demand we cannot accommodate drop-ins as most classes are booked with a waiting list.
Q: I travel a lot and would like to have class available when I am in town. Is that OK?
A: No and Yes: Must pay for the full round by 3rd session. Makeups are unlikely. If new to us - We require you to be with us for the beginning of the round and 2 to 3 weeks in before regularly missing classes. Much information is given in first few weeks and not fair to rest of the class when their workout is compromised because all has to be re-explained to the newbie who showed up 2 weeks into the program.
Q: Not going to be in town for beginning of classes but back at about the 2 week mark. Is that OK?
A: If new to us - No as we strongly prefer you to be with us for the beginning of the round and 2 to 3 weeks in before regularly missing classes. Much information is given in first few weeks and not fair to rest of the class when their workout is compromised because all must be re-explained to the newbie who showed up 2 weeks into the program.
Q: I have medical issues that affect my ability and strength - can I do the classes?
A: Feel free to email us your concerns and limitations and we will be happy to consider your situation. Please feel free to ask us about it.
